Every Victrola player has Bluetooth-Input capabilities, meaning you can connect any phone or streaming device to your Victrola to play wirelessly. #### How do I connect a wired speaker to my device? If applicable with your model, a wired speaker can be connected via RCA cable. For Amplifier device with this input, insert the white and red plugs on the RCA cable into the unit. Insert the opposite end into the amplifier device. Be sure to connect the white plug to white jack and the red plug to the red jack or this connection will not work. #### How do I play 45s on my record player? First, take the 45 adaptor and place it over the center of the turntable. Then, change the speed to 45 on the speed selector located to the right of the tone arm. You can now play your favorite 45’s! #### How do I set up my record player? Start by unboxing your record player and making sure you have received all the correct pieces. Make sure to find a straight, level area to place your record player as any slanted surface can cause an issue with the player skipping. Plug in the power cord to the appropriate power supply and into the back of the player. If your records are not playing properly or the turntable is not spinning, then please try adjusting the screw on the back of the turntable by turning it a quarter of a turn each time and then try playing a record. #### Why is my turntable humming? This might be a result of feedback from other audio/electronic devices that are sources of static and or vibrations. It is advisable to Keep your turntable on a flat, sturdy, level surface and to use only one piece of audio equipment within the outlet. Another possibility would be that the transportation screw is not fully loosened. Please double check the transportation screw and fully loosen it to remedy the humming. #### Why are my speakers humming? This can be a result of electrical interference such as a phone near by the speakers or ground loops. A ground loop in home stereos typically occur when turntables are plugged into different electrical outlets than the amplifier. Please move the turntable and/or speakers to a different outlet. Please select different inputs to confirm the humming is on each input. Please double check all wire inputs are correctly seated. If it is a continued issue, please [reach out to us directly](https://www.victrola.com/pages/contact-victrola "Contact Victrola"). #### Why is the platter wobbly? This can be a result of electrical interference such as a phone near by the speakers or ground loops. A ground loop in home stereos typically occur when turntables are plugged into different electrical outlets than the amplifier. Please move the turntable and/or speakers to a different outlet. Please select different inputs to confirm the humming is on each input. Please double check all wire inputs are correctly seated. If it is a continued issue, please reach out to us directly. #### How do I reset/reboot my unit? To reboot your unit, simply unplug the unit from the wall outlet and let it rest for about 6- 8 hours. After you plug the unit back in, try the below mentioned steps for continued troubleshooting. #### My record player is playing too fast or slow Adjust your record player to 33 referring to the product’s manual. If you wish to adjust it to 45 RPM, please use the 45 RPM disc and adjust your turntable to 45 RPM using the manual. Finally, if you need to play at 77 RPM, you will most likely need to hold both buttons, the 33 and 45 to reach 77 RPM. Also, clean the vinyl and ensure it is not skipping using the above methods. #### How long do needles typically last? Needles can last up to 50-300 hours depending on the condition of the records and unit purchased (needle wear will be increased playing faster records such as 78 RPM records). We recommend cleaning your needle by using compressed air or a clean paint brush to remove dust and debris as needed. #### Where can I purchase replacement needles? Needles can be purchased on our website [here](https://victrola.com/search?q=needle&_=pf&pf_pt_product_type=Needle "https://victrola.com/search?q=needle&_=pf&pf_pt_product_type=Needle"), or by contacting our [Customer Service Team.](https://www.victrola.com/pages/contact-victrola "Contact Victrola") #### Which needle goes with my record player? Remove dust with a clean lint-free cloth semi-regularly to ensure no dust is coating the needle and internals. Wipe in the direction of the wood grain using a furniture polish rather than an aerosol cleaner. #### How should I clean my composite plastic record player? Remove dust with a clean lint-free cloth semi-regularly. In order to clean the unit, we recommend a slightly moistened towel to remove build up as well as a dry cloth to remove any extra moisture. #### What is the best way to clean / handle my vinyl records? We recommend cleaning your vinyl with a lint-free cloth upon finishing your listening session. When handling your vinyl, ideally you would want to avoid touching any part of the vinyl with a playable groove. Instead, handle the vinyl carefully by the edges and inner label. #### What is the best way to store my vinyl records? Store your vinyl in a clean, cool, dry place avoiding high temperatures and humidity which may cause warping. Never store your records horizontally on top of one another because of possible warping. You can find Victrola vertical storage crates and stands in our [accessories\\ \\ collection](https://www.victrola.com/collections/accessories "Vinyl Accessories"). Do not allow your vinyl to become loose inside the jacket. Store Vinyl in an inner sleeve made of paper to better protect your music. #### What’s the best way to store my record player? Keep record players in clean, dry locations. Keep all accessories with your unit such as the manual, power adapters, needles, etc. Do not stock anything on top of your vinyl OR record players. ## Reviews ## Reviews ### Rating Snapshot Select a row below to filter reviews. 5 starsstars 20 20 reviews with 5 stars. 4 starsstars 0 0 reviews with 4 stars. 3 starsstars 0 0 reviews with 3 stars. 2 starsstars 0 0 reviews with 2 stars. 1 starstars 1 1 review with 1 star. ### Overall Rating 4.8 21 Reviews ### Review this Product Select to rate the item with 1 star. The portable is compact and has good sound quality. I would definitely use it with your equalizer to get the most out of the speaker. The Tabletop version was a very disappointing purchase, because it rattles when playing. It sounds as though something is loose or not secured properly, so when it's playing music, it rattles and makes an annoying sound. The wireless charger is a nice touch. I like the overall looks and wireless charging feature, but why waste your money on expensive junk? I didn't buy the speaker so that it could only be used as a wireless charger. Has great battery life and easy and straight forward bluetooth. Those last 2 especially key as they are not always the case with bluetooth speakers. It’s also really convenient to have a portable speaker with a line in. Been taking it all over my house from the backyard to the garage to the home gym. I’ve even been able to connect it to my Peloton and Hydrow for better sound during my workouts. Highly recommended! It's why I hate playing music from a phone, through bad headphones and busted blue tooth speakers. This speaker is exactly the kind of speaker I enjoy. Solid acoustics, great bass, and the tone is clean. Plus it's a stylish vibe. Add in the charging function and it's actually perfect. Don't know how this wasn't a thing before but Victrola Nailed it. Storytime for those interested - I have a 1978 Chevy Van that belonged to my Grandfather. The van is in great operating shape but the radio is awful. I put this speaker on the center console and its now the speaker's permanent home. I Love it when good style, good sound, and good tech can combine. I just place my phone on top of the speaker when driving the van and now It doubles as a car charger and an upgraded sound system. It looks really beautiful in my FLW inspired kitchen and its high sound quality shines. I also find the charging station really handy so I don't have to stress over 'where's my charger?' Haven't taken it outside yet but the weather's getting warmer and soon I'll be entertaining with it in my backyard! From its robust and crystal clear sound to its modern sleek design (I have the black model) it’s a must! The easy of use is another great feature along with the portability facture. To top it off it’s also a wireless phone charger!! I recently took it to the beach and it’s was a big hit. Highly recommend!!! Whether I'm listening to my favorite tunes or catching up on a podcast, I'm consistently impressed by the quality of sound that this speaker delivers. One of the things I appreciate most about the Music Edition 2 Speaker is how easy it is to connect to. With just a few clicks, I can easily pair my phone, tablet, or computer and start streaming my favorite content in no time. The speaker also has a great wireless range, so I can move around my house without worrying about losing the connection. Another feature I love is the built-in wireless charging pad. It's so convenient to be able to charge my phone without having to mess around with cords and cables. It's a high-quality speaker that delivers amazing sound and is packed with convenient features. If you're in the market for a new speaker, I highly recommend checking this one out! It has a vintage look but is also timeless. It was so easy to set up. Just plug in and pair. The sound quality is better than any other speaker we’ve tried. Works perfectly inside and outside, with the wireless option. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality speaker with sleek design. This speaker is very well made, and the sound is even better than we expected; we might just buy another one to set up as a pair. Super happy with it and the design is modern and sleek.
