Staff Picks: March 2021 – Victrola
Staff Picks: March 2021

At Victrola, we are committed to bringing lifelong music memories into every home. Our employees are passionate about music, and believe music defines our moments, pressing them into our subconscious. The warm, imperfectly perfect needle on a record transports us to those places in our individual and collective history, with a nostalgia more powerful than simple recollection.
We've curated those music memories for you, featuring a few of our employees every month. Stop by and get to know us, and perhaps take our recommendations for a spin. We're certain you'll find some music memories to share with us.

Katie Kelly, Commerical Operations
I've always loved Queen and every song on this album is a classic.
Lady Gaga: A Star Is Born Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
I saw this movie in the theater a couple times and completely fell in love with this entire album.
Marc Morgenbeser, Commerical Operations
Kanye West: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
This is the perfect album to me. From the honestly, sometimes, over-the-top lyrics to the beautiful wall of sounds and the perfect use of samples, I think Kanye put everything I like about music into what I think will go down as a top album of all time.
Stevie Wonder: Songs In The Key Of Life
The perfect long car ride album to just throw on and jam out. Stevie Wonder has never made a bad song.
Keith Neva, Sales
The Rolling Stones: Exile On Main Street
Exile on Main St. shows the Stones for who they truly are, quoting Mick Jagger: "runaway outlaws using the blues as its weapon against the world” The Stones most diverse album, with Gospel, Country, Rock, and Blues, Exile is to me, the most honest, most fun Rolling Stones studio experience.
This album put the Old 97’s and leader Rhett Miller at the top of the Alt Country universe. The albums key songs, Big Brown Eyes, Barrier Reef, Time Bomb hold strong as the best of the Old 97’s live performances.
Karina Ramirez, Operations
I love listening to the lyrics and relating to a song. When listening to this album I found myself relating to the artist and feeling array of emotions to each song.
